Until it reaches the consumer, milk goes through many stages that guarantee its quality. One of the primary factors in this process is hygiene when milking the cow. If care is not carried out correctly, including products and essential steps, the property runs the risk of being harmed by microbial contamination.

For this reason, dairy production requires good milking habits to preserve the qualitative properties of the milk. Dairy producers who use milking equipment must pay attention to the hygiene processes of each mechanism.

Understand which are the main chemical products that help with hygiene and consequently improve the entire production chain:

ALCA-R2000 (Chlorinated Alkaline Descaler)

Milking is the main moment on a dairy farm. In this process, it is important to observe the equipment's hygiene practice manual because milk is predominantly made up of water, fats and proteins. These materials accumulate inside the equipment, facilitating the growth of bacteria and compromising the quality of the milk. To dissolve these materials, cleaning with ALCA-R2000 after each milking is recommended. The product has been specially formulated for removing fat and proteins from milking equipment and is highly effective against high bacteria counts.

ACID –R2000 (Acid Descaler)

Another characteristic of milk is the deposits formed by minerals inside the equipment. This “dirt” is not removed by the alkaline cleaning process, as is the case with milk stone, and requires an acid rinse to remove it. This cleaning process, combined with the protection offered by the acidic pH in relation to controlling the growth of microorganisms, means that an acid rinse with ACID-R2000 is recommended daily or at least three times a week.

HIG ÓXI R2000 (Sanitizer)

Pipes that come into contact with milk need a specific sanitizing product, a type of specific disinfectant that reduces the number of bacteria that can contaminate the milk. HIG ÓXI R2000 must be used 30 minutes before milking.

HIG CLEAN R2000 (General Purpose Detergent)

Milking utensils and milk cooler tanks, internally and externally, can be cleaned with the slightly alkaline foaming detergent HIG CLEAN R2000. It was specially developed to remove organic residues, such as proteins and fats, always according to the degree of dirt and at the user's discretion.
